Privacy policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what information QuickEat collects, why, who we share it with and what your rights are. QuickEat is operated by eventi.grosso (514353408).
1. What we collect
From restaurant owners and staff:
- Name, email, phone and role of staff members who have an account.
- Business details and subscription payment details.
- Content the restaurant uploads: menu, prices, photos, floor plan.
From restaurant guests:
- Order details: what was ordered, from which table and when.
- Name and phone number, if the guest chooses to give them (for example to verify with an SMS code or to split a bill).
- We don't store credit card details. Payments go directly to the payment provider.
From website visitors:
- Basic technical information recorded automatically by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type and time of visit.
- Anything you send us by email, such as a demo request.
2. How we use it
- To run the service: send orders to the kitchen, show bills and enable payment.
- To give support and answer questions.
- To send invoices and important service updates.
- To keep the system secure and prevent misuse.
- To meet legal requirements, such as keeping records for tax purposes.
We don't sell personal information and don't use it for third-party advertising.
3. Restaurants and guest information
Guest information is collected for the restaurant where the guest orders. The restaurant sees its own orders and is responsible for how it uses them. QuickEat processes this information on the restaurant's behalf and according to its instructions. Each restaurant sees only its own information, never another restaurant's.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only when needed to provide the service:
- Hosting and server providers the system runs on.
- Our SMS provider, for verification codes.
- The payment provider, when paying through the system.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
5. Storage outside Israel
Some of our service providers are outside Israel, so information may be stored on servers abroad. We choose providers committed to an appropriate level of data protection.
6. How long we keep it
Order data is kept while the restaurant uses the service, and afterwards for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes. Information we no longer need is deleted or anonymized.
7. Security
We use standard measures to protect information: encrypted connections, hashed passwords, role-based access and separation between each restaurant's data. No system is completely immune, and if a security incident happens we will act as the law requires and notify those affected.
8. Cookies
The website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The restaurant system stores in the browser only what it needs to work, such as staff logins and a guest's cart.
9. Your rights
Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct wrong information, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep. Guests asking about an order at a specific restaurant can also contact that restaurant. For any request, write to [email protected] and we'll reply as soon as we can.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated, and we will email restaurants about material changes.
